Documenting service charges, transparency and accountability, from the resident's side.
This is an independent site documenting service charge disputes, complaints and accountability issues involving Peabody Trust and its managing agents. The name is used with some irony: the site exists because residents have found the ordinary complaints process a poor route to accountability.
It is written and run by leaseholders and residents, including members of the Residents' Association. Articles are built on documents, complaint responses, correspondence, tribunal papers and service charge records, so that readers can weigh the evidence for themselves. It does not claim to be neutral. It is a resident's account, written openly from the resident's side and held to a standard of documentary accuracy.
